Ethical hunting is a rewarding experience, respecting the animal completely requires making decisions based on the welfare of the animal and your surroundings over taking the shot at any cost. Hunting is about so much more than the animal, to our team and many other hunters it is a valuable chance to leave behind stress or pressure from this fast paced lifestyle and relish in the tranquility of nature. It is traditionally said that a true hunter can go hunting 10 hunts without taking a single animal and still be excited for the 11th. This is the experience that we enjoy sharing with others, watching families and groups bond over the simplicity of being together in nature without any distractions is what drives our passion for what we do.

Ethical hunting is also a great way for us to monitor and maintain a healthy and sustainable population of game. In many blocks and public land, the decision to take an animal is often based on convenience, timing or trophies. Our strict approach to game selection allows us to control the quality of the genetics and ensure a healthy and sustainable generation to come. By limiting the number of trophies each year, and taking the time to identify whether a doe is pregnant or has dependant young are examples of ways we can ensure animals aren’t wasted, or future generations jeopardised.

Correct hunting practices and education are essential for any hunter to dedicate themselves to. Most hunting accidents occur due to a lack of education and experience. It is this which we aim to provide at Adventure Hunting. Hunting can be a naturally dangerous activity if all risks haven’t been addressed and prepared for. We provide education from preparing for your first solo hunt, game selection and retrieval to appropriately cleaning and skinning your game for minimal waste.

This shouldn’t limit you in your wishes to experience this rewarding activity.
